Notice! Russ Devereaux’s performance was the last production for the Geneva Underground Playhouse, and we will now be closing our doors. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished, but unfortunately we cannot see a path to making the theater financially viable on a reasonable time scale.

We’d like to thank those that have come to our shows, those who have taken part in our productions, and our landlord Joe Stanton, without whose generosity the theater would not have been possible.

Geneva Underground Playhouse is a not-for-profit community theater located at 524 W. State St. in Geneva, Illinois (corner of Sixth and State). We produce mainstage productions throughout the year, and also host performances by comedy groups, musicians, playwrights and any number of other entertainers. Our space is also available for meetings.
